For this project, designer Spyros Kizis was commissioned to create sound-absorbing panels for the National Bank of Greece’s main conference room. The challenge was to design a solution that combined acoustic functionality with a visually appealing aesthetic, ensuring the panels enhanced the space both in form and function.

Drawing inspiration from the building's iconic Art Deco architecture, Kizis incorporated elements of the building's original artwork into the design. Using digital weaving techniques, these motifs were transformed into modern, textile-based patterns, resulting in sound-absorbing panels that were not only effective in improving acoustics but also served as a contemporary reinterpretation of the building's artistic heritage.

The finished panels blend seamlessly with the space, offering both visual interest and acoustic clarity. They act as a striking focal point within the conference room while paying homage to the building’s architectural history.
